Henley honours rowing medal winners from the Beijing Olympics. Thirteen rowers from the town's Leander rowing club who won medals at the Beijing Olympics.

 Steve Williams (Gold men's fours) with Florence Lock and Elizabeth Blair part of the guard of honour. Beijing medal winners gathered at the Rowing Museum in Henley on Saturday 11th Oct to take part in an Olympic Heroes Return parade. After a reception at the museum the Olympic rowing medalists toured Henley in an open topped bus. Thirteen medal winners came from the town's Leander Rowing Club.
